Your basic wardrobe check

Wardrobe check

With this wardrobe check, you can quickly find out whether you have a solid foundation and which pieces are still missing. Goal: fewer bad purchases, more combinations, and outfits that are easy to put together every day.

How to use the check

  • Take 10 minutes.
  • Go through the list point by point and check off what you already own.
  • At the end, mark no more than 3 gaps that currently hold your outfits back the most.

Basic wardrobe checklist

Tops

  • 2 to 3 high-quality T-shirts/longsleeves (neutral)
  • 1 white blouse/shirt (clean, well fitted)
  • 1 knit piece (cardigan or sweater)
  • 1 top/bodysuit (as a layering base)

Bottoms

  • 1 well-fitting pair of jeans (your favorite cut)
  • 1 pair of trousers (business appropriate)
  • 1 skirt or an alternative you truly wear

Dresses & one-pieces

  • 1 dress for everyday/business (easy to combine)
  • 1 outfit for special occasions (a reliable go-to look)

Blazers, jackets, coat

  • 1 blazer (instantly makes you look polished)
  • 1 light jacket (seasonal piece)
  • 1 coat that works with 80% of your outfits

Shoes

  • 1 pair of comfortable everyday shoes (clean)
  • 1 polished pair (loafer, boot, or heel depending on style)
  • 1 weatherproof pair (rain/winter)

Bags & accessories

  • 1 everyday bag (practical, high quality)
  • 1 small bag/clutch
  • Belt (at least 1, matching your shoes)
  • Jewelry basics (the ones you actually use)

First insights (mini analysis)

If you have major gaps in 2 or more areas, a structured wardrobe refresh is usually worth it: stabilize the basics first, then add standout pieces strategically.

If you want, we can look at it together. I will make a clear plan for what you need and what you can skip.
