Definition

Jumpsuits range from flowing evening wear to functional workwear. In German, jumpsuit and overall are often used interchangeably; However, overalls can be more reminiscent of work or protective clothing.

In simple words

Because the top and bottom are not separated, a long, continuous line is created. Waist, inseam, torso length and closure must fit at the same time. A model can look perfect when standing and still pull when sitting or lifting its arms.

What to pay attention to

  • Test sitting, walking and arm lifting so that your upper body and stride have enough length.
  • Check whether the waist is in your natural or desired position.
  • Look for a closure that you can easily use in everyday life.

Common misconceptions

A jumpsuit is not automatically more uncomplicated than two individual pieces. The overall fit is more demanding because multiple body measurements come together.

ESKYNA note

The jumpsuit immediately creates a complete image - the length of the entire body has to work for this.
